It’s Monday! And that means it’s time for your weekly dose of all the great Gaming Memorabilia news from this past week.

With NYCC this week, most of the announcements have already been revealed. There are, however, a few small surprises this week which might peak your interest. How about some Yooka Laylee merch? You a fan of the Metal Slug soundtrack? How about all the Pokémon plushes coming out of the Pokémon Center? All this and more can be found right here. Enjoy!

 

YOOKA LAYLEE – TRIFORCE COLLECTOR BOXIE

Scale figure makers, TriForce, has unveiled their Yooka Laylee Collector-Boxie. The box includes a premium keychain, character pins, concept cards, as well as, a 10-inch tall statue of duo Yooka and Laylee. The box set will cost $59.99 and interested collectors should note that it’s scheduled to ship this December 2017. For fans of the game, there’s not much merch for Yooka Laylee out there, so definitely get your wallets ready for this!

 

POKÉMON – POKÉMON CENTER LIFESIZE PLUSH LINEUP

The Pokémon Center just released a lineup of life-sized plushes this week, and fans are going crazy! We got some common entries like Marill and Wooper, but some lesser-seen Pokémon are also gracing this run. This includes Joltik, Sentret, Furret, and Cutiefly.

 

THE END IS NIGH – LAUNCH EDITION

If you’re into physical editions of indie games and the Nintendo Switch, then you’ll love the upcoming retail Switch copy of Edmund McMillen’s The End is Nigh. Not only will it include some sweet ass box art and the excellent platformer, but a neato squishy toy for you to hug and love! This will be included with all first run prints of the game, publisher Nicalis announced over Twitter today. If that wasn’t enough, there is even an instruction manual!

 

METAL SLUG – DATA DISC VINYL ALBUM

The culmination of more than a year’s collaborative work between DATA DISC and SNK Corporation, to develop an exclusive soundtrack release for the Japanese publisher’s most iconic franchise and one of the most beloved shooters of all time – Metal Slug! The vinyl edition includes the complete music from the first entry in the series (Metal Slug: Super Vehicle-001), composed by Takushi Hiyamuta in 1996. The release is packaged in a gatefold sleeve with accompanying double-sided lithographic insert, featuring rare artwork from the Japanese archives and a special translucent OBI strip with fluorescent Pantone print. The album is available in the 180g Orange/Clear/Yellow Tri-Colour with White Splatter (Limited Edition), 180g Opaque Yellow and 180g Classic Black.

POKÉMON – POKÉMON CENTER VULPIX’S CRYSTAL SEASON LINEUP

If you’re a fan of Vulpix and Alola Vulpix, it’s time to rejoice! The Pokemon Company has announced a new lineup of Pokemon Center Original merchandise called Vulpix’s Crystal Season, featuring Vulpix and Alola Vulpix. This includes a set of plushes, some plush keychains, a set of snow globes, some smartphone cases and a ton of stationary. If you’re a fan of Vulpix, this lineup is for you!

 

MARVEL VS. CAPCOM: INFINITE – BLACK PANTHER VS. MONSTER HUNTER FUNKO POP! VINYL

The crossover video game series, Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, has one more 2-pack to add to our previously announced Pop! lineup! Now adding the King of Valkanda, Black Panther, featured with his right-hand and expert tracker, Monster Hunter! Coming this Fall! Also, as expected, be sure to look for the color-variant, only at Best Buy.

 

 

FATE / EXTELLA – NERO CLAUDIUS FIGMA FIGURE

From the popular game “Fate/EXTELLA” comes a figma of the Saber servant, Nero Claudius! The smooth yet posable figma joints allow you to act out a variety of different scenes. A flexible plastic is used for important areas, allowing proportions to be kept without compromising posability. She comes with three faceplates including a confident smile, a shouting face and a cheerful smile with closed eyes. Optional parts include her beloved sword Aestus Estus as well as her buckler. An alternate lower arm part and shoulder accessory that allow her to equip the buckler are also included. An articulated figma stand is included, which allows various poses to be taken.

 

POKÉMON – POKÉMON CENTER TRANSFORM! DITTO PLUSHES AND FIGURE COLLECTION

Love Pokemon plushies that look like they have Ditto’s face? Well, they are coming back later this month! A new lineup of Transform! Ditto plushies and mascots are heading to Pokemon Centers in Japan. This time around, the lineup includes Ditto transformed into Magikarp, Lapras, Omanyte, Dragonite, and Sableye. The plushies cost 1200 yen, while the mascots (smaller keychain plushies) cost 800 yen. There’s also a set of adorable figures that run at 300 yen a piece.

 

 

STREET FIGHTER ALPHA – CAMMY BISHOUJO STATUE

Kotobukiya has 2 new Bishoujo statues from Street Fighter. The first is none other than Cammy! Due to the high demand from fans, Kotobukiya returns to this popular fighter, but this time in her Alpha costume. Cammy is sculpted in detail by Gill Gill, from her muscular physique to her natural blonde braids and gauntlets. Display alone or alongside other Kotobukiya Street Fighter Bishoujo statues such as Chun‐li and Decapre!

 

STREET FIGHTER ZERO 3 – DECAPRE BISHOUJO STATUE

The next Kotobukiya Bishoujo statue from Street Fighter is none other than Decapre! Based on the illustration by Shunya Yamashita, Decapre is seen in her costume from Street Fighter Zero 3. Her appearance resembles Cammy, albeit with the Shadaloo Doll outfit and a blue‐gray metal mask. Decapre wears a pair of retractable daggers that are significantly larger than Vega’s claw and emit Psycho Power.

 

POKÉMON ULTRA SUN/MOON – POKÉMON MONCOLLE LINEUP

With the release of a new Pokemon game comes with the new release of more Pokemon Moncolle. Pokemon Moncolle are small plastic Pokemon figures that are cheap to collect. A total of 7 different Pokemon Moncolle products will be releasing on the same day as Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon in Japan. This includes Necrozma, Mane of Twilight Necrozma/Solgeo fusion, Wings of Dawn Necrozma/Lunala fusion, Dusk Form Lycanroc and Ash’s Pikachu performing the 10,000,000 Volt Thunderbolt Z-Move.

 

 

POKÉMON ULTRA SUN/MOON – POKÉMON MONCOLLE GET SPECIAL PACK – LEGENDS OF ALOLA

The next product we’re going to cover isn’t your usual Pokemon Moncolle figurine. This is the Pokemon Moncolle GET Special Pack – Legends of Alola Box. This box comes with eight small Pokemon Moncolle GET figures that are compatible with the Z-Move Research Lab. The Pokemon figures that come in this box are Solgaleo, UB-1, Ditto, Rowlet, Pikachu, Alola Form Raichu, Lycanroc, and Midnight Form Lycanroc.

POKÉMON ULTRA SUN/MOON – POKÉMON MONCOLLE GET SPECIAL PACK – LEGENDS OF ALOLA

Last but not least is a Poke Ball shaped case that is designed to fit your Pokemon Moncolle figurines. This case can be brought out with you wherever you go, and it has three different “levels”. The different levels inside the case can be removed and placed outside. The case also fits the smaller Pokemon Moncolle GET figurines. An exclusive bonus that comes with the case is an Ash Pikachu Moncolle figure.

 

RAGE OF BAHAMUT – HATSUNE MIKU (WINTER HEROINE VER.)

From the popular game “Rage of Bahamut” comes a figure of Hatsune Miku as she appeared in the game during a special collaboration event! The lovely illustration seen in the game has been sculpted with care to preserve the unique atmosphere in figure form. Her cute smile and dynamic pose look ready to jump to life, with her beautiful long hair flowing majestically around her! Her outfit has also been very carefully detailed, with the golden highlights along her white outfit and the mechanical details of her headphones all preserved in intricate detail. Be sure to add the songstress to your collection!
