The History Channel: Battle for the Pacific

Once upon a time, I had a YouTube channel [insert dramatic gasp here]. And on that YouTube Channel, I had a series called the R2G Random Reviews, where an iPhone app would randomly select a game from my shelf for me to play through and review. A risky concept, but one that would hopefully introduce me to hidden gems across all generations of consoles. In the inaugural episode, my app chose this – The History Channel: Battle for the Pacific. Admittedly I was hoping for a retro title or something that had been high on the list of must-plays, but alas, that was the point of the show. So I popped it in to see what it was all about.

After playing, I wrote a review which you can find here: Round2Review - The History Channel: Battle For The Pacific

Have you guys played this game? Was your experience better than mine? How does it compare to some of the other WWII games you enjoy? Let's chat about all that and more right here on this thread!
