Book club?

Anyone interested in a video game book club? I read a lot. When those books are video game related, all the better.

Specifically, I'm thinking of books that aren't just compendiums or collections of reviews. Books like Extra Lives, super Mario: how Nintendo conquered America, Crash Override, and console wars.

Thoughts?

Sounds like a cool idea! I might have to learn to read for this!

I just ordered Phoenix IV this morning... although that might be a bit dense for book club haha.

I like books and clubs and discussing things.

I'm totally up for this. Got a pretty sizeable library that I've yet to make a dent in, so any excuse I can get is great!

Just let me know where to start!

I think this is a great idea! I love reading and video games, so I'd defiantly be down for it. :)

Yay! Glad to see the excitement. How about I start with this, a list of the books I currently have and have either not read or would love to read again. If anyone else has these books available (or really wants to read one of them), then that narrows down our list.

I've bolded the few that I'm personally really interested in.

Books I have but have not read Books I have read but would be willing to read again Books I don't have but do want to read (and I'd be willing to buy a copy)

I somehow had never heard of this book. And considering how much I claim to love video game books, I fear I may come off as a fraud, now.

You need to order it. Now.

I'm about 300 pages in so far and I'm only to 1991.

There were a ton of these being sold at PRGE, but it would've single-handedly put me over the suitcase weight-limit. That thing's a beast!
