I preordered ME:A, and all the recent talk (and reviews) has made me nervous to the point where I'm considering sending it back. I figured out a way to give myself a chance before having to make a decision.
Note: I've included some gameplay footage from the first two hours - I'm fairly certain there's not anything that'll ruin your enjoyment of the story, but I did catch some of the animation issues worth pointing out.
I received the Cartridge Club Mystery Box from the QDawgs - come see what I decided to keep before sending off the box to another club member!
Also - a huge thank you to YoshiKnuckles who was able to get my recently acquired Sega Master System up and running again. Check out his console repair and mod work at: https://yoshiconsolemods.wordpress.com
A huge NES title off the Top 100 list from a generous viewer from New Zealand, I grab the game that everyone is talking about, and P1 recounts what happens when you are too good at Overwatch.
I recap the month of February, talk about a couple small pickups, and what I've been up to the last couple of weeks.
I'm also looking for additional feedback on the whole "Musty Cooking Show" - comments and thoughts on what people would want to see there would be much appreciated.
I stream some of our gaming sessions to Twitch.tv - https://www.twitch.tv/mustyhobbit
Interested in the Club Shirts, mugs, or bags, but missed your chance - check out the possibility of relaunching the campaign:
Now The Official Party Dip of the Cartridge Club!
Not a normal video for me, but I quickly assemble my favorite party and potluck dip. Super quick.
2 Blocks of Cream Cheese
1 packet Ranch Dip mix
8-12 oz Light Beer (Bud Light/Coors Light/Old Style are my faves for this, but any lager should work)
8 oz shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Serve with Pretzels, Chips, Veggies (Carrots/Celery)!
Another successful purchase from Adam takes one of the remaining games off my Top 100 NES List.
Musty is an Iowa-based video game collector in search of some of the best games ever made.
A recent addition to the Cartridge Club, Musty focuses primarily on the NES, SNES, and Xbox, and has a special fondness for the Final Fantasy, Halo, and Mass Effect series.
