J.F.Rey and Metal Gear Solid V have teamed up to bring us one of the most elaborate (and expensive) designer shades yet!
Characters in the game can already be seen wearing these stylish sunglasses, and now you can own them too!
So let's dive into all of the different offerings that will be released this September.
First up we have the HIDEOGEARSL exclusive. With 300 in the limited set, these numbered shades are the most common in the series. Purchasers will also walk away with an exclusive branded box complete with collector card and shade wipes.
Next, let's take a look at the UV Collection which is separated into 2 series:
The first series are the OcelotGear Sunglasses. These entries are complete with a nylon-weaved side frame and camoflauge-patterned lenses. There are 300 being made, 150 of each pattern.
And second series are the KazGear Sunglasses. These are a bit more sleek, with ultra-fine side frames. Like OcelotGear, there are a total of 300 being made split equally between the three entries.
Next we have the BlueLight Collection whose entries are all frames have a much more rigid shape. They are separated into 4 series:
The first are the RazorGearSolid Frames. At a total of 100 produced at 25 per design, these entries are all equipped with metal frames and blue, light-proof lenses.
Next are identical designs but instead have slotted frames. These are know as the RazorGearLight Frames. Like above, there are 25 of each totaling 100 in the lineup.
The third series in the collection are known as the HideoGear Frames. These are similar to the UV Collection with their nylon frames; however these have the signature blue light-proof lenses. There are 200 in the set; 70 of the silver and the red, 60 of the blue.
And finally are the DDGear Frames with all new unique designs and much larger rims. In total, there will be 5 different types with 60 made of each.
To round off the compilation of Metal Gear Solid V goodies, we have the cases for both the UV and the BlueLight Collection.
For the Metal Gear Solid collector's out there, you have your choice of a plethora of sunglasses and frames; so get your wallets out and get ready for June 22, 2015 when these go on pre-order!
